Your First Site Visit: A Practical Checklist

Walk onto site prepared. A printable checklist for interns and junior architects.

This is placeholder article content. Ashlar Academy blog posts pair field experience with practical, buildable guidance — the same approach we take in our courses and masterclasses.

Every article is written by a practising mentor, drawing on live projects, site checklists and the drawings-to-construction gap that Ashlar exists to close. Real content replaces this copy at launch.

Key takeaways

• Read the drawing before you read the checklist.
• Coordination beats correction — catch clashes early.
• Document decisions so the handover pack tells the whole story.
